Photo processing
AfterAir reads compatible image files in the folder you select and writes converted files according to your settings. The image conversion is performed locally using macOS frameworks.
Network use
The core conversion workflow does not upload your photos. The app does not need network access to turn HEIC into PNG or JPEG.
Settings and activity
AfterAir stores the preferences required to remember your watched folder, output format, appearance, and conversion behavior. Recent activity is shown to help you verify what happened.
Folder and notification permissions
macOS may ask you to approve access to the folder you choose and permission to show notifications. Those permissions support the requested workflow; you can change them in System Settings.
Analytics
The current app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The landing page source also ships without a tracking script by default.
You stay in control
Choose the watched folder, pause automatic conversion, or disable completion notifications at any time. Original photos are preserved by default.
